Foodie Field Trip – Know the Origins of Your Food with Nopalize and Maiden Lane Studios

If you love food, keep reading…

One of San Francisco’s restaurant authorities, Nopa, has birthed a local food media movement called Nopalize. They are sharing access to growers, producers, and makers in our local food community, both online and offline, through farm tours called Seasons.

In their second year of the event series, the Season’s field trips come highly recommended by Maiden Lane Studios’ staff.

“Our goal is to help you connect more deeply to our food system by engaging all the senses; exploring food, community and the meaning of place firsthand. In apple orchards and wine cellars, plentiful pastures and 100-year-old barns, we discover the origins of some of Northern California’s finest artisanal products, and meet the people that bring them to our tables.”

The tours start at Nopa where guests mingle over fresh coffee and pastries. From there, guests are shuttled to the farm where they’ll tour the property, before being wined and dined by a special guest chef.

As a client of Maiden Lane Studios, you’ll receive a 40% discount on Seasons events. Use the promo code: maidenlane
