Pat has been a lifelong student of the human body. He is the Head Instructor at the International Kung Jung Mu Sul Federation Headquarters and is an active competitive Martial Arts athlete in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Mixed Martial Arts. 19 years as an active practitioner of the Martial Arts, with 10 years of teaching experience, he is well versed in many forms of combat, self-defense, and has competed on both national and international stages.
A spinal injury in 2011 left him with debilitating nerve pain and neural-muscular dysfunction, forcing him away from the world of training and into the world of therapy. Determined to heal, he took a break from Martial Arts and dedicated himself to a transformative Bhakti Yoga practice while exploring various forms of therapy over the next few years.
He found Fascial Stretch Therapy at a critical point in his journey to heal, and the results were so profound that he decided to learn the craft himself. He uses his own experiences as a patient/client to connect with and educate his own clients and students. Pat has a passionate and uplifting style of teaching. He emphasizes that any practice is about creating a relationship of communication, understanding, and mindfulness with our own bodies.
