We are sad to announce that Alexis, one of our most beloved, fun, and fabulous Booty Barre and Pilates instructors at Maiden Lane, is moving to Portland for an amazing job opportunity with Nike. Join us for her Farewell Booty Barre Class this coming Monday, August 24th at 5:30 pm. We will be pouring bubbly after class to cheers to the years of butt-kicking and toning Alexis has provided us with, while celebrating her new adventures ahead. This class will fill quickly, so make sure to reserve your space here.

Upcoming Special Workshop Classes
For the price of our regular barre and yoga classes, and included in our monthly unlimited plans, we are offering in September our more intensive, workshop style classes that will help you get the most out of your barre and yoga classes. These classes pair detailed education with nearly a full barre or yoga class. Highly recommended for newbies, but also for anyone wanting a great workout.

Saturday, September 19th, 12:15 pm – 1:30 pm
Better Barre Basics Workshop (with Kelsey): Get better at barre. This 75 minutes, workshop-style class covers the fundamental movements of our barre classes and helps ensure you’re doing each movement correctly, and getting that burn! Class will combine an educational portion, explaining correct alignment of each movement, and end by putting these barre principles into practice with a 50 minute class. Sign up here.
Saturday, September 26th, 12:15 pm – 1:30 pm
Yoga Foundations Workshop (with Michelle D): Create a strong foundation for your practice. This 75 minutes, workshop-style class gives an introduction to yoga, going over the fundamentals of a flow-style class, with you getting to put those fundamentals into practice. This class is recommended for those who want to learn more about yoga or just fine-tune their practice. By learning proper form and alignment, you’ll get more out of your practice, and make gains in your strength and flexibility. Sign up here.
